Everything is Computer (when meme bursting to open space)
'all things computer' – Trump's Mind Gets Unstuck, Cryptomarket Follows the Same (but — with a Memecoin)
Let's be real, folks: the internet can be absolute, pure, undiluted insanity, and this week's proof is provided by you know who. President Trump, bless his heart, gazed upon a Tesla interior and uttered the words that birthed a thousand memes: "Everything is computer." And, because it's crypto, the words gave birth to an actual memecoin directly.
Yes, you heard that right. Yes, Everything is Computer (IEC) is now officially a thing, listing on Pump.fun (naturally) and already having more than $15 million in volume. Seriously, who did expect this? (Besides every degenerate on Crypto Twitter, I mean.) The token even got to $0.007 on Raydium before settling back down, demonstrating yet again that if it can be meme'd, somebody will try to token it. I mean, why not?
Is This Thing On…
Numbers, let's chat. $7 million market cap? Not bad for a project that started life as a presidential "wow" moment, but hardly Dogecoin level. Price is riding around like a Shiba Inu on caffeine and at around $0.0028 at the moment. We've seen this dance. Pump.fun is hardly the most respected project following the LIBRA fiasco, and everyone's on edge for rug pulls.
One crypto old-timer, Myles Snider, got it exactly right: "A few months back Everything Computer would've been a $500M memecoin." Translation: the market is spooked, but the right meme can work like magic. I mean, if in real life we're willing to assign billons to the face of a canine, who's to say the befuddled president can't be the next hotness. Or, you know, it can all go to zero. Put money on it.
Destiny?...
The Million-Dollar Question. Moon or Doom?
So, is Everything is Computer destined for stardom, or is it another flash in the memecoin pan? Your guess is as good as anyone's. It's undoubtedly got the meme power, no doubt. Trump's "anything is computer" is the type of ridiculousness the internet lives for. But in all seriousness, the truth about the memecoins is that they're essentially digital roulette.
Can the hype last? Can it shake the Pump.fun specter? Time will tell. But here's for sure: whether you're cashing in on a couple of bucks off IEC or simply watching the train wreck unfold, it's another reminder why crypto is the most ridiculous, funniest, and sometimes most rewarding part of the internet. At least we can say we got a great meme for it, right? Now, if you'll pardon me, I'm going to go purchase a Tesla. for research, of course…
